The Medicine Garden

Get involved

We are creating healthy outdoor volunteering opportunities for local people, with the chance to learn new skills in horticulture, self-care, and community organising. The garden provides a chance to develop friendships and expand networks, with regular social events.

We hold regular workdays where people volunteer with building and developing the garden. We have also held educational workshops on a range of topics from propogation, seed collecting skills, harvesting herbs, making medicinal oils, to explaining the medicinal uses of the digestive herbs, herbs to help with stress and anxiety, and regular informative herb walks around the garden.
We welcome new volunteers getting involved in any aspect of the project, whether it be gardening, horticulture, fundraising, carpentry or enjoying the seasonal events.
